Replacing front bumper for Hyundai EON

I got Hyundai Eon two months back and 2 days before I got hit by the stone on my cars bumper and got a big dent on it. Now I want to replace the bumper as the car is new. So can anyone let me know if I would get a good bumper matching the color of my car and what would be the cost of the bumper.

The cost depends on the work required to do on the cars bumper as if the car bumper has got a cut or torn then you need to replace the bumper and if the bumper has just got the dent then I think it can be removed easily. If possible can you please upload the pictures of the damage done by the stone.

You can do 1 thing just go and buy a black bumper and take it to a dealer and get it paint with a local mechanic. But yes it is not possible to get the orignally quality which you had. Untill you go to a professional person to do the work. And yes there will be the differnce in the color of the bumper and the car. But can you tell use is it necessary to replace the bumper. As you have mentioned your bumper has a dent.

As much as I know almost many bumpers are made like they can easily soak up the impact if the impact is slow and it will get to normal automatically but it would leave some scratches on the bumper. But now a day’s bumpers are not made for safety purpose they are just made for good looks so it get hit slowly then it just bends and again comes back to normal.

Yes you are right but I love now a day’s bumper as they are soft and if they are broken they can be easily repaired. So I think you just take your car to the local mechanic he can fix it easily but doing some patch work he will be able to remove the dent but yes the scratch won’t be able to remove. Yes but for that scratch you can buy a “remove scratches pen” it will cost you around 150RS only. Hope it helps you out.

First year depreciation is 20% of your cars original value. So, for a car costing 3.11 Lakhs, the value will come down to 2.48 Lakhs. Taking roughly 4% as premium, you will have to pay Rs. 9952 if you will make a claim this year. If you do not make a claim now, there will be an NCB discount of 20% which will bring down the premium to Rs.7960. However, these figures are not exact and there are additional charges levied in the form of taxes, cess etc. As the cost of repairs is more than 5k, claim insurance. But if there is no cashless facility, you may have to shell out 500-1k from your side.
