TVS Apache 180 cc vs. Bajaj Pulsar 180 cc

Planning to buy a new 180 CC bike but I am not able to decide between these two TVS Apache 180 cc and Bajaj Pulsar 180 cc. So guys please help me out to decide which is a better bike from these two. And if possible users which have this bike please do give a short review kind of thing. Thanks in advance.

You should go for TVS Apache RTR180. If you consider performance. But if you consider for fuel efficiency try out 160. There is not much difference in the mileage of both. RTR160 will gives 47-50kmpl whereas RTR180 delivers 38-45 in city riding conditions since i own a RTR180. The main drawback of this bike is that its mileage falls rapidly as you go more than 75 Kmph. But this bike is awesome.

Seriously dude! Best bike in 180cc segment. i had some vibration problems in starting but after 1st service and getting it's chain tightened it just flew in top speed. This is better than Pulsar180. RTR 180 rocks. And initial pick is amazing according to pulsar 180. Buy this bike.

The looks of Bajaj Pulsar180 is far much better than that of Bajaj Pulsar150, i like everything of Pulsar 180 but the main thing is mileage, Pulsar 150 gives 8Kmpl more mileage than Pulsar 180, that the reason i am confused between both but now i am much more impressed with Pulsar 180. I would say I will be going and booking this bike as soon as possible.

I own an Apache rtr180. i rode pulsar 180 and my bike to their extreme limits. In no way 180 can go above rtr180. RTR 180 is better in everything except mileage than pulsar. Concerning about control at high speeds. Pulsar lags far behind than apache its breaking is best in its class. I raced with my friend who owns a pulsar 180 for nearly 50kms which contain every kind of traffic, road condition. He was 3 mins behind me.

As comparing pulsar 150 and apache 160 pickup wise both are having throttle response. At high speeds due to high wt pulsars are highly stable while apache lacks due to skinny tyres and wt. comparing pulsar 180 and apache 180 pickup wise apache 180 is better but the handling provided by Pulsar 180 is exquisite at high speeds there is not a penny vibration in pulsar 180 it can reach top end easily than RTR. If you are an RTR fan you are cursing the handling of both 220s and p180 but if you are a pulsar fan you will respect your buy decision a lot and newly 180 is also having very quick response than RTR 180. It is having 0.8 ps more than RTR now can take revenge of the ug4 p180 from RTR 180.

Hi friends i respect all the bikes. Apache 180 is very good in pick up and its raw power is awesome but friends I and my bro purchased apache 180 and pulsar 180 at same time. Usually we exchange our bikes few points i have noticed in these bikes after 2.5 years

    • Apache 180 due to low wt accelerates fast while p180 is little bit slow as with 180 0-60 a180 4.4 sec 0-60 p180 4.7 sec these are actual from standstill
    • At 8500 rpm due to vibration apache 180 loses out while p180 is good at this instance due to high wt p180 is slow at start but after 2000 rpm it can chase and beat apache 180.
    • Top end is similar i have reached 133 on a180 and 132 on p180
    • Personally i do think p180 has edge over a180 due to high wt at high speeds
    • Mileage wise most important discuss to think in case of 180 engines the matter is quite different p 180 can reach max mileage of 47 Kmpl if ridded ideally means both on highway and city sophistically but here apache lacks it avg is 44 i get maximally due to low wt apache 180 is a cruiser while p180 is fiery beast due to high wt 5. both are value for money can beat Karizma R both in city and highway but apache 180 can kill Karizma ZMR at city while p180 can kill ZMR at highway
    • Both are digital bikes but in this segment pulsar has edge over it due to backlit switches indicator sensor all dc lighting
    • Performance wise at low speeds apache 180 can full your need of sporty bike but at high speeds where you needs stability p180 can fulfill your wishes of sports bike
    • Drawbacks p180 no kick lever long turning radius main stand assembled quite below a 180 tyres should be slightly thicker back pain occurs after long trips front suspension can be improved.
    • Overall apache 180 9/10 pulsar 180 9/10 some features are good in Apache 180 some are good in Pulsar 180
    • No need to buy 220 p or Karizma because they can chase and beat everyone. R15 is not a rival it is 150 bikes it is overrated it canít beat even a160 and p150.

Apache gives the average between45-50 and pulsar 220 give just 30-40 hardly and RTR180 touches 160kmph and pulsar touch 144 that why RTR180 is better then pulsar but pulsar having more affections and great systems.

Pulsar 220 is good, but in racing purpose RTR 180 is the best in 220 segment bike. RTR easily reach 125kmph (in 80-90 seconds) and within 1 minute reaches the top speed 140 - 143kmph. Itís my challenge to all bike lovers or racers in 220 segment with my RTR I run with 130 -137 kmph up to 16km (my tested result), if you have the same power, definitely you will beat me. But you think or tell properly from your heart.
