The best buy amongst the following
    1.apache160
    2.pulsar150
    3.hunk150

And I would also like to know all the above bikes mileage. And if possible users using any of the above bike please share your review about the bike.

i have pulsar 150 2009 model. After completing 30 K Kms its engine started giving smoke. I was surprised that 2007 model of pulsar 150 was better than the new one. Now i bought new hunk 2011 model. Its mileage is exactly 50 Kmpl on city roads. So i recommend you don't go for pulsar 150. You can go for new hunk it is better than new pulsar 2009 but not 2007.

    Engine specifications of TVS Apache

    • Displacement: 159.7cc
    • Engine: 159.7cc, Fi
    • Maximum Power: 15.7 Bhp at 8500 rpm
    • Maximum Torque: 13.1 Nm at 6500 rpm

    Engine specifications of Bajaj Pulsar

    • Displacement: 149.01cc
    • Engine: 149cc, DTS-i
    • Maximum Power: 14.9 Bhp at 9000 rpm
    • Maximum Torque: 12.5 Nm at 6500 rpm

Engine specifications of Hero Honda Hunk

    • Displacement: 149.2cc
    • Engine: 149.2cc. 4-Stroke
    • Maximum Power: 14.2 Bhp at 8500 rpm
    • Maximum Torque: 12.8 Nm at 6500 rpm

Now if you compare all three bikes you will come to know that as TVS Apache has 160CC it has more power and more torque.

I would say you should go for TVS Apache RTR 160 as it has some unique feature which other two bikes do not have.

    1. Digital Speedometer.
    2. Petal shaped disc brakes.
    3. Serrated design stickers.
    4. Naked chain cover.
    5. LED tail lamps.
    6. Clip on handlebar for various positions.
    7. Service and battery indicator.
    8. The digital display has a feature to test the top speed achieved.
    9. You can also test your 0-60km/h timing on the digital display.
    10. Tank cowl like in the Bajaj Pulsar 220.

Some features what I think about Bajaj Pulsar 150 are it has great engine but it makes some noise. It has good pickup not only that much it also have good road grip and nice handling. Even if you ride this bike you will get a good comfortable riding position. It comes with advance technology. Even the electrical features like automatic off indicators, bright headlight, engine on/off switch, stand indicator are really amazing.

About Bajaj Pulsar I would like to say something.

Pros of this bike: This is a very good and comfortable bike with less engine vibrations. It has good pillion seats. Nice pickup. Low maintenance cost and spare parts also cheaper. Good mileage.

Cons of this bike: This bike is very common on Indian Roads. After 2-3 years the bike starts giving lots of engine noise and also gear shift makes noise. Gear also becomes very hard while shifting to neutral. And the biggest drawback of this bike is its resale value it is very less.

As you are planning to buy a new bike I would say instead of going for this bikes you should go for any Yamaha or Honda bikes. Yamaha bikes are costly with fewer features but they provide quality. And about Honda it has good bikes but you will find less option in Honda bikes as they have really less bikes in India.

TVS Apache 160 is a great bike to buy. I was confused between TVS Apache and Honda CBZ. But when I took a test drive of both the bikes I was not able to touch 100Kmph in Honda CBZ and on Apache I was easily able to cross 100 Kmph and I had touched 115 Kmph than to with a pillion. So I took TVS Apache and you can get good mileage of around 50+ Kmpl in city if you drive around 60 Kmph.

First of all I would like to ask you a question are you a bike lover? And if you are I am sure you would like Hero Honda Hunk on first ride itself. As I have this bike form past few months and I do love my bike very much as it give me good mileage with good comfortable seating and also it has great handling and awesome pickup. And if you ride your bike on high speed it wonít vibrate a lot it would be stable. So I think you should go for TVS Apache only.
