    Yamaha FZ6 making graunchy noise

I noticed that my naked FZ6 2005 has begun to make a noise graunchy. I have tried to reduce a little and this is what I have so far. It has nothing to do with the direction (bearings, etc). It comes in straight lines and converts. Stops when standing and when decelerating it makes me think he might be the string? The bike has covered 16k miles and seems to be in the original string, there is a link Split / soft rivet. When I apply just enough to accelerate the engine to pull only without increasing the speed makes noise. I checked the oil and fluids and all are well. The brakes are good and not binding, etc. How I can check my chain for exchange requirements? The sprockets look good, not too worn out or anything and the chain is adjusted to tolerances in the Haynes manual. Any ideas? (In addition to turn my music up!)

A worn chain can be identified by damaged or missing o-rings, rollers and plates. Some other things to consider: Does the noise go away with the clutch pulled? Does it increase or decrease a certain speed / rpm? Some noise that the engine load depends on how this can be found in the area of the drive train, the chain / clutch and transmission. You may want to check that the chain is properly aligned as well.

Thanks for the reply. I mostly notice it as I move away from a detainee. When the engine is shot and not inertia. It wills if I get the clutch makes no difference in what I'm up and I can feel a slight vibration through the stirrups. I'll check my chain again. Hold me tight, but did not know how to tell if used past their prime. One site suggests pulling the chain off the sprocket at the farthest point on the back of the bike and if exposed to any of the gears you need to change? In that sense, it is better to go to a chain and sprockets brand or replacement of original Yamaha? Thanks again.
