I think currently you are having 155\80\R13 then you must go for the 175\70\R13 and Apollo Accelere 165/80R13 will give you better performance.

Santro comes with 155/70R13 tyre and upsizing to 165/65R13 is best suited. Most of the people go for =2 or =3 upsizing. You can select any tyre just make sure that the tyre is having 'bi-directional' tread patterns.

165/65R13 is the proper +1 upsize for Santro and if you are going beyond that then it might hamper the Speedo reading or disturb the free movement of tyre while making full U-turn.

You must go for the CEAT. It is a reliable tyre for the soft corner else read below and chooses. Performance tyre or summer tyre: MRF, CEAT, Apollo (Rank in order)
All-round or all-season tyre: CEAT, Dunlop(UK), Good Year
    Wet-weather tyre: Dunlop, Apollo(USA), Continentel(Germany)

No I don t think it will affect the performance instead it will be more reliable and efficient. You must try bright stone which is highly accepted in Indian market and has long life.
